2018 NZICM Conference

Saturday 6 October - Sunday 7 October

We are very excited to announce that we have secured Thomas Richardson to present a practical workshop for our annual conference this year

“Pulse Diagnosis of the Extraordinary Vessels & the Six Channels/Neo-classical Pulse diagnosis”

In this 2-day seminar we will learn and practice several Neoclassical Pulse Diagnosis methods, including diagnosis of the Extraordinary Vessels and the Six Channels, as well as the Compass Method for finding five element imbalances within a given organ.

These are extremely simple and easy-to-learn pulse methods that lead to effective treatment strategies.

Thomas Richardson is a Licensed Acupuncturist as well as a scholar and teacher of acupuncture and Oriental medicine. From 2012-2014, Thomas lived in Boston, where he completed a master’s degree at Harvard University. His research focused on connections between Buddhism, Daoism, and Chinese medicine, as well as trauma, storytelling, and healing. During this time, he was also on the faculty at the New England School of Acupuncture. Thomas currently is based in Boulder, CO, and is on the faculty at Southwest Acupuncture College, as well as teaching seminars nationally and internationally on Neoclassical Pulse Diagnosis since 2009. He has two books forthcoming in 2018: Extraordinary Chinese Medicine: The Extraordinary Vessels, the Extraordinary Fu, and the Art of Being Human, as well as being a coauthor on William Morris’ book, Neoclassical Pulse Diagnosis.
